Sharet’s main function is to transfer files between people without the need to use cloud stores. You can share pictures, videos, local music files, documents, and apps from one device to another. It does not transmit data over a public Wi-Fi connection or Bluetooth. Instead, a direct wireless connection with up to five devices is created as a small network. It does not always work
Being multi-platform also poses problems for sharet because you need to solve connection problems on different devices. Because sharing does not use Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth connection, it must create a direct connection to another device. This means that the device creates a hot spot that is connected to other devices.
Nor does the app explain that you need to customize the Wi-Fi settings. The Settings menu gives options to “better place choice” when sending or receiving, but the app never mentions that devices will create troublespots to share data. Ratant is also a Bugbe. My first attempts to transfer files to the app caused freezing. Both devices had to restart Sharet before the transfer was in operation.
When Sharet works, it is quick. Images are transmitted quickly. Video had an uneven transmission rate and transitions were sometimes frozen. After completing the file transfer, the app disables the wireless connection and returns to the original connection. This means that if you want to share another file, you need to go through the steps to start and connect to a problem.
The biggest problem with Sharet is that it purports to be easy to use but is actually quite confusing for the average consumer.
Need more Poles
Sharet has the potential to be useful, but the lack of instructions and explanation makes it frustrating to use it. There is also a lack of caution and intuition. Closing the connection to a problem makes sense, but having to go back through these steps to start another movement is annoying someone.
There are many simpler options for transferring pictures and files. Sharet is great for video, but it depends on the size of the file.
Share promises of being user-friendly, but not yet reached that goal. If you want to transfer files, try pushing the bullet.
